Terms

 

 

 

Terms of the Contract

1. All stored caravans* must be secured as per the conditions of the insurance policy in respect of the stored caravan policy

2. All personal effects and valuables must be removed from the caravan, and the windows and door to remain locked during the period on site

3. Wherever possible all gas bottles to be removed from the caravan, and no other noxious, dangerous, hazardous, or explosive goods are permitted on site

4. Access to the site is between the hours of 8am – 8pm, access at any other reasonable time can be made via arrangement

5. All caravans to be parked correctly within the allocated plot

6. All caravans must be insured and kept insured during the period of storage

7. All caravans and the allocated plot area must be kept tidy and no litter left behind

8. No trading is permitted from the site, and caravans must not be offered or advertised for sale whilst on site

9. Caravans must not be inhabited during the storage period

10. No major repairs to be carried out on site (minor repairs may be carried out with the permission of the proprietor)

11. The rental fee is £ payable in advance, starting to ,the proprietor has the right to alter the rental by giving due notice to the plot holder

12. In the event of the storage fee being overdue a Legal Lien will be attached to the caravan, and will remain in force until the arrears are settled in full or the Lienis otherwise discharged

13. In the event of a negative response to notification of the Lien, legal action will be taken to sell the caravan via The Torts Interference with Goods Act 1977. The outstanding arrears will be deducted from the proceeds of the sale, as will collection. The proprietor warrants that he/she will seek to obtain the best price available based on current market values.

14. The proprietor excludes all liability caused by vermin infestation, a recognised control regime is in place and is monitored regularly

15. In the performance of this contract of bailment the proprietor will at all times act with due diligence in providing secure storage

16. The proprietor excludes all liability for loss or damage by whatever cause where the means employed are in excess of the duty of due diligence

17. Any changes to the details provided by the plot holder in this agreement to be notified to the proprietor without undue delay

18. Any person found to be interfering with or removing property from any caravan other than their own will be expelled from the site without notice and reported to the police. No recompense of storage fee will be given

19. Caravans are allocated a space of 3 metres in width and should be parked in the middle of the space – please do not move the markers

20. No refund is given if the contract is terminated by the customer before the end of the term

21. Please ensure all dogs are kept on a lead whilst on the premises. If your dog does mess please pop it in a bag and take it home

22. Please take home all of your litter and do not leave it in the storage area

23. Contracts, keys and plot spaces are under no circumstances transferrable

*please note caravan also includes motor homes, trailers, boats and any other agreed vehicles
